No, if it is not connected to the Internet or the phone tower, there is no way of finding it.

Unfortunately no. The device has to be connected to either a cellular or wifi network to be able to be tracked. Best advice is to enable "lost mode" to lock the device. Maybe some good soul will find the device and contact you.
