iTunes Match won't download song to my computer

I have iTunes Match and despite its issues, I have been more or less happy with the service...I just turned it "on" on my new computer and am in the process of downloading everything to my new PC. There is one song on one album that will not download. It has a cloud next to it and shows up on my phone but when I click the cloud nothing happens. All the other songs on the album downloaded without any issues. I no longer have access to a physical copy of this particular album, it is an old friend's band (who is no longer with us) and isn't available for sale or download anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

Downloading from the cloud is not the best or most efficient way to migrate your personal data to a new computer. These Apple KB articles should help you:

Thank you! Much appreciated...the only problem is that iCloud is the only place I have that particular album right now...

First trouble shooting step is to always simply quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then launch it again and try to download the tracks again. If that doesn't work, then stop iTunes Match while holding down the Option key and quit iTunes. Wait a few seconds then relaunch it and start iTM. After adding the computer and letting the scan complete you ought to be able to download the tracks.

Once you get the tracks downloaded immediately purchase an external HDD that is 2 to 3 times the size of the internal HDD of the computer and start using the backup software of your choice to backup all your personal data. iTunes Match is not a backup service. You are responsible for making backups of your data.

Good stuff. First time I have had this problem, but restarting iTunes fixed it. I may have had iTunes open for many days with no reboot.
