i need quicktime 7.6.0

I recently had a harddrive crash and reinstalled iOSx 10.5.8 on my macBook. I cannot upgrade my iOS b/c my computer is too old but with the current iOS upload, i seem to have lost iMovie function. IMovie tells me I need Quicktime 7.6 or later to work but the newest Quicktime is too advanced for my current system and won't download. Any idea how I can get 7.6?
