logitech mouse scroll fails to work why?

I'm facing the exact-same problem you mentioned. I use a wireless logitech mouse (M187), the clicks are fine but the scrolling works only when I scroll fast. Slow scroll doesn't work. Were you able to find a solution to this?

What is the exact model? Based on your post, I assume you already adjusted: System Preferences > Mouse >Scroll Speed, but there is no change. What is the exact problem with scroll > slower than usual, not responding at all, etc? Try replacing the batteries in your mouse, as a first step.

See the support page. The questions address some of your exact issues as well if this driver does not resolve the problem. You may need to also 1) clean the mouse, 2) reset the unifying receiver

I suspect the mouse is broken, then. Test your mouse on another computer if possible to confirm.

Try the USB mouse on the MacBook to see if it works normally.

Try downloading the driver again and reinstalling it. Perhaps the driver got corrupted.

I had this problem as well, and simply unplugging the USB receiver and plugging it back in solved the problem. Hope it does for you as well...

Oops, ignore this post. My issue happens on Sierra, and there is already a thread on this exact problem. Seems Apple managed to break basic mouse functionality, good job Apple !!!.

I have this issue too, started a little while ago. Scrolling does not work when scrolling slow, e.g. single clicks on the mouse wheel, but does work when scrolling fast. Unfortunately unplugging the usb received did not help in my case. Very frustrating.
