Final Cut Pro X Trial Not Responding after install

I just recently downloaded Final Cut Pro X trial, however the program fails to open after install with the icon sitting idly in the dock, however the computer fan starts to spin really fast. When I force quit the program is listed in red and titled "Not Responding". Looking at activity monitor auvaltool is eating up a lot of CPU (at times 97%!). I am not really sure what to do at this point. Any ideas?

I am running MAC OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4.

I already tried that approach. No luck. I also already tried repairing permissions. And even re-installed the OS.

Have you ever gotten it to launch?

Do you have FCP7 or an earlier version installed?

And even re-installed the OS. Did you try to reinstall FCPX ? If not drag FCPX to the trash and go to App Store, purchases, and reinstall FCPX

I have never gotten it to launch. No, I do not have FCP 7 installed. And yes, I have tried reinstalling twice. 😟 I feel the issue must lie with auvaltool or my audio plugins, as whenever I try to open the program I notice 4 additional auvaltool programs opened in activity monitor eating up my CPU. I have no idea how to fix this, however...

I don't think it's auvaltool, but could very well be one (or more) of your plug-ins.

Most likely the audio plugins. Can you put all of them away?

What do you mean? If I try to move the Audio plugins from Library I get a warning that they cannot be modified as they are needed by Mac OS X.

You need to give exact information. We can't see your computer. What plugins are you talking about? Where are they exactly?

Sorry, but I was asking for clarification about what you meant. The Audio plugins I thought you were referring to were the ones located in Library/Audio/Plugins which includes a folder labeled VST. Howver, I cannot modify them. What plugins are you guys referring to exactly? And where would I find them.
