MacBook Pro doesn't recognize password

Question

My daughter&#x27;s MacBookPro does not recognize the password when connecting to our home WiFi.  Two iphones and 2 MacAirs connect without issues. Hardware is Netgear N150 router and an Apple Airport.  Have been using this set up for about 3-4 years and have had no problems till now.  No changes have been made to any of the components that I am aware of. The key chain shows that she is using the propper password. Any suggestions.  I am really a PC guy but my kids have Macs.

Try the basics first:   Change your router channel number.  Most times this works &amp; is all you have to do.Disconnect &amp; reconnect your modem.  unplug it for about 10 seconds.  Plug it back in.  Do the same for Apple’s routers.  Wait for everything to reboot.System Preferences&gt;NetworkClick the Assist Me button.In the next window that pops up, click the Diagnostic button &amp; do the necessary. Not sure if you understood my post or maybe I just don&#x27;t understand.  Four other Apple devices (2 iphones and 2 Mac Airs) do not have issues accessing the WiFi, so I am assuming that it is not the wireless hardware since the other devices are working fine.  The keychain that remembers the passwords for the MacPro also shows that the propper password is being used so I tend to think that it is the MacPro and not the wireless hardware.  When trying to use the password we get the "invalid password" message or sometimes the "session timed out" message. Thank You.
