I moved the Project and Events folder to a different drive and now FCPX doesn't recognize it. I had these on a dasiy-chained FW400 drive and output is interminable. I thought I'd move them to my system drive to see if that might speed up processing but they do not show up in the index of Events or Projects when I open FCPX. Why would this be?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
events and projects should reside inside below mentioned folder in root of hard disk, then only fcpx will display (any of ur hard disk)
hard disk / Final Cut Projects / your project folder
hard disk / Final Cut Events / your event folder
Final Cut Events and Project folders should be at the root level of drives other than your start-up drive.
If you moved them to the start-up drive they must be in your Home folder>Movies for FCP to see them.
