Q: I uploaded my contacts to iCloud and it deleted everything from my phone and I can't find it on iCloud.com

I have had my iPhone for a few years. I finally uploaded my contacts and mail to iCloud and it deleted everything from my phone. With my position in the military it had contact information that took me years to collect. I created an iCloud account on the internet and my "contacts" tab was empty. I have no clue where all my contacts went and I don't know where to find them.

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

    When you delete any data from your phone that you are syncing with iCloud, it deletes it from iCloud.  When you deleted the contacts from your phone, they were deleted from your iCloud account.

     

    Did you back up your phone while you still had that contacts on it, or do you have your contacts backed up anywhere else?

    I didn't delete anything from my phone. I went to "settings" "iCloud" "merge contacts to iCloud". It deleted all contacts from my phone and shows nothing in iCloud. At no time did I hit a "delete" button.

    Sorry, I misread your post.  Do you ever back up your phone while the contacts were still on it?
