Q: How can I choose my payment method?

I am wanting to buy an app with my credit card that is registered with my account. However, I also have a balance of money from gift cards in my account. Whenever i go and try to buy the app it uses the money from my gift cards. Is there a way for me to choose my payment method?

    No, if you are buying an item for yourself then it will automatically use your balance before your credit card - if your balance isn't enough for the item then the remainder will be taken from your credit card.

    If you want to use your credit card then you could see if you could gift the app to yourself (you can only gift from a credit card, not an account's balance) - I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure if gifting to yourself will work.
