Push/Fetch?
Hello,
what exactly is the difference between push and fetchg in mail applications. what should i set mine to on my ipad mini?

While that link is a good description of the differences between Push and Fetch, the setting you choose depends on the type of account you're dealing with. For example, iCloud mail supports Push but the standard iOS profile for GMail does not.
So turning Push to ON does nothing for you if all you're using is a GMail account. Likewise, setting a Fetch interval to every 15 minutes does nothing if all you're using is iCloud mail (or any other mail that supports Push).
What type(s) of mail account(s) are you setting up in iOS?
Push happens on the mail server.
It detects you have a message and sends it.
Fetch happens on your device.
You set a time interval for your device to check for mail.

An iOS Gmail account only supports Fetch when using the iOS Mail app. The Gmail app supports Push though.
I think hotmail is supposed to support Push, but I think it has problems doing so reliably (as with Yahoo).
