Inporting iMovie from iPad to computer
I followed these instructions, but the movie title is grayed out and I am not able to click on it.

Hi
Strange
I just connected the iPad and the Import window popped up directly.
Can it be so that Your Main Start-Up (Mac OS) Hard Disk is filling up - so that iMovie has no place to store it ?
• I never let this free space go less than 25Gb - just to let iMovie and Mac OS run OK.

I'm trying to import a trailer. Does that make a difference?
What I really want to do is get the trialer in a format that I can share it with my students online. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Did You do any Video-editings on Your iPad ?
I thought You just used it to record You material.
Doesn't have any iMovie on my iPad - so I'm lost.
In iMovie on my Mac - one must convert a Trailer to a standard project - to be able to add photos etc. May be it's the same on iMovie for iPad ?

You can Share the Trailer directly from within the iMovie for iOS app. Movies and Trailers can be shared to YouTube, Vimeo, FaceBook and CNN iReport.
You can also export movies and Trailers to the Camera Roll, then sync them back to your Mac or PC using iTunes.
See this Apple site:

Also, here's a link to the Apple Help topics for iMovie for iOS (includes details for sharing to social media, other devices and your computer):
