iMac Upgrade Question

I have a 21.5 Mid-2011 iMac (with 2.7 ghz Intel Core i5, AMD Radeon 6770 video and 12 GB of RAM installed).

Considering "upgrading" to one of the new 21.5" iMacs.

Use the iMac primarily for some game playing (under iOS and Windows 8 under Parallels) and photography work (primarily using Aperture).

Will I see a "significant" improvement - meaning worth the money for the purchase - in (1) graphics based upon the specs and the improved screen resolution and (2) processing power/speed?

Thanks. Steve

Hi, prblem with the new 21.5" iMac, is the RAM isn't user upgradable, you must order the RAM upgrade at purchase. 😟😢

iMac "Core i5" 2.7 21.5-Inch (Mid-2011)... Geekbench: 7890/8647

iMac "Core i5" 2.7 21.5-Inch (Late 2012)... Geekbench: 8068/9145

Mac mini "Core i7" 2.3 (Late 2012)... Geekbench: 10626/11825

iMac "Core i7" 3.1 21.5-Inch (Late 2012)... Geekbench: 12490/14143

Personaally, I wouldn'take a new "thin" iMac for free.
