SSD (Scratch Disk) has larger free space than the original drive?

Hi

I have a Crucial SSD drive as a scratch disk in my Mac. The Drive is 256GB, which on the desktop is showing as 255.72GB with 326.8 GB free.

I have backed up all the data on another drive and just about to repartition the drive. But before I do, I wondered if this is just a OSX error, corrupt file or a problem with the SSD drive itself.

Thanks in advance

Matt

If I were you, I would just reformat the drive and see what's reported then.

I've had many instances of the Finder/Storage tab, etc., reporting wrong capacity. I suspect that it's a fluke and not a problem with the drive.
