Q: My Magic Trackpad is not responding at all. How can I fix this problem? I have changed the batteries and the light comes on but no response. I can't even make it pass my log in screen.

Do you have a mouse you can use to go to System Preferences and check the TrackPad and see that it is pairing and that the replacement batteries are good?  There have been a few users who have had problems with suppossedly new batteries, turned out they actually were not strong enough to pair.  If you cannot use a mouse, try a different set of batteries and see if that resolves the issue.

If that does not resolve it, take the TrackPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs test it to see that it is not defective.
