Hi. Recently when I try to burn iPhoto pictures to a disc, I get the following response:"The burn to the SuperDrive drive failed. The disc drive didn’t respond properly and can’t recover or retry." Can this be fixed?

Thank you for providing all the information about what is going on with the burning issue you are experiencing with iPhoto. I found some resources that I think might help:


I recommend resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac:

Resetting the SMC for Mac Pro, Intel-based iMac, Intel-based Mac mini, or Intel-based Xserve

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Unplug the computer's power cord.
  3. Wait fifteen seconds.
  4. Attach the computer's power cord.
  5. Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
