Imac 10.6.8.. I tried to upgrade my OS to Snow Leopard. Everything was fine until I was prompted to restart. Now every time I restart it prompts me to restart. Any suggestions?
Can you tell us more about the specs of your iMac?
What year, screen size, CPU speed and amount of RAM installed?
Have you made a backup of all your data?

My solution was to obtain a wired keyboard, and hold down the option key while restarting. I was asked if I wanted to reboot via my hard drive or the disc. I chose the hard drive. Everything is back to normal, although the upgrade appears not to have worked.
