logic pro freezing everytime I click save

Hi, my logic pro is recently freezing everytime I click save, save as, or do the command for saving. Also, before the spinning rainbow wheel appears, the screen flashes white. Not sure if anything is tied in with that. I can't even run logic/my projects anymore and I am extremely confused because I have an upgraded MacPro and it is a brand new computer..
