Wifi will not stay on with 4s.

I have returned three different 4s iphones for my daughter to a retail apple store and all do the same thing. wifi greys out. The phone is still under warranty until October. What is the fix for this and why hasn't Apple taken responsibility for this problem?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Have you tried to reset the network settings and see if the problem persists? If you can try and do a soft reset. Try a soft reset by holding in the power button and the home button in at the same time for about 15 seconds until the screen flashes and then goes completely black. Afterwards try and turn the phone back on and see if that works. Hopefully all will be well now.

The re-soldering of the Wifi chip to the Logic Board has not been offered when I have taken the phone back to the Apple Store. Each time I have been given a different 4S phone. She is now on her third 4S since October of last year and they all do the same thing since the 6.1.3 software update. We went to the Apple Store last week and had the phone restored as a new phone, came home, synched to wifi and it did the same thing within a few hours. Wifi grey out again. I have been able to get the wifi back by resetting network connections but it is really a pain to keep doing that. Again why doesn't Apple offer a better solution instead of telling me how rare of an issue this is when it is not?

Yes, has been tried several times on three different 4S phones and the problem does not go away.
