Aug 15, 2013 12:23 AM in response to Boebs74by mende1,Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Open Settings > General > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and enable iCloud Backup. Your iPhone will back up to iCloud when it's connected to a Wi-Fi network and plugged to the charger, but you can also make manual backups going to Settings > General > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and choosing Backup Now

Aug 15, 2013 6:53 AM in response to mende1by oez,When I go to Settings > General > iCloud > Storage & Backup
I cannot enable iCloud Backup:
The slider is disabled and do not want to move.So how do I enable that slider to be able to enable iCloud Backup?
(I am wondering if I need a screwdriver to loosen that slider?!?) -

Aug 15, 2013 7:58 AM in response to oezby pvonk,Check your restrictions in Settings - that might be your problem.

Aug 15, 2013 8:13 AM in response to pvonkby oez,My restrictions are "off" means "no restrictions are activated".
Even I turned restrictins "on" and allowed everything -> the "icloud backup"- slider keeps disabled.
Also when I reboot the iPad afterwards nothing changes.

Aug 25, 2013 6:31 PM in response to Boebs74by Jhandworth,I have a message on my mini iPad saying iPad has not been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when iPad is plugged in, locked, & wifi is on. Cannot do anything but plug it in. Don't think wifi is on. Won't shut down completely & won't get rid of the message! What do I do?
