Is there a way to delete duplicate songs without deleting the ones in playlists?
Delete the duplicate.
If it gets removed from the playlist that indicates that it was the duplicate in the playlist, not the original.
Simply add the original to the playlist.

For example you have two copies of a song in your library and you've added one copy of the song to playlist A and the other to playlist B. My script will decide which of the two copies to delete, and then add the other copy to any playlists that it was in. The script will add the playcounts of the two alternate copies together, and take the highest user rating, and apply these to the copy that is kept.
