Question

why can't my iMac connect to wifi with WPA/WPA2 AES?

using Router

TP-Link 150M wireless lite N router

Model No. TL-WR740N / TL-WR740ND

with WPA/WPA2 Personal AES setting, iPhones, iPads can access Internet with Wifi but just not working for the iMac

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Try changing the "Channel Width" setting under Wireless Settings to "20M" on your TP-Link router using the web-based administration interface. Most likely it was set to "Auto."

Also, if you had disabled it, set "Enable SSID Broadcast" to "Enable."
