Paragon NTFS For OS X and Parallels Desktop 8

Does anyone know of any issues with using Paragon NTFS for OS X on an iMac running Parallels Desktop 8 under OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion? Will the NTFS driver work in both native Mac OS and in Parallels?

Many thanks,

Larry

There are no issues by using both of them at the same time, as both are supported in OS X Mountain Lion.

Note that the NTFS driver will only work in OS X, not in any of your Parallels' virtual machines. You will have to install the NTFS driver in the virtual machine, but note that if you are going to install Windows in a virtual machine, you don't need it

Many thanks for that.

I have Windows 7 running under Parallels 8 Desktop now. Many of my files are stored in an NTFS-formatted external hard disk I was using with my Windows PC before I transferred to the new Mac. If NTFS for OS X will level the playng field and I have the same access to that drive with both native Mac and Windows under Parallels, thats an optimal solution. I'll go ahead and purchase NTFS for OS X then. Again, many thanks.
