Q: hi, music files I purchased from the iTunes store now say the original file cannot be located. where has the original purchased file gone?

Hi

I purchased music files from the iTunes store and now when I want to play them I am told that the original file cannot be found.

Where have the files gone? Where will I locate the files?

Hello there CPStewart,

It sounds like the audio file somehow was moved or renamed. This article may help you find the files that are missing:
iTunes: Finding lost media and downloads

If not, then you an also redownload the music from the iTunes store free of charge by deleting the missing media from the iTunes library, and using this article to download the music.
