Retail price of 30GB iPod

40GB iPods have been discontinued by Apple, so you've purchased an older model iPod from leftover inventory.
I would imagine that a retailer can charge whatever they choose to charge.

The current iPod models are a 30GB ($299 USD) and 60GB ($399 USD). I'm not sure what that equates to in Canadian dollars, but if you do the currency conversion, you should know if you've been overcharged for a 40GB iPod.

BestBuy in Vancouver is currently selling the 30G Video for $349.99 cdn and the 60G Video for $459.99 cdn. This is $40 below the regular price

return that 40gb immediatly! then eather get the 30gb or 60gb video ipods. 40gb ipods are much cheaper than a 30gb video now anyway

The 30GB video iPod is $349 CDN. The 60GB is $459 CDN
If you have a 40GB, non-video model, I'd take it back.
