Q: iTunes question

I have updated iTunes to latest version. My iTunes library when launched shows all the album folders but with no content. When I click on an album all the songs show an exclamation point and file can not be located. All the music is in the iTunes music folder. I can open that folder, go to a song and it opens on my computer. How do I get the files from the music folder to the library. Thanks so much.
