My Mp3 files shows up as a Documents and i cant save pictures to my mac. How do I fix this?

I erased Aperture Program off my MacBook and now My Mp3 files shows up as a Documents and when i click on it, it tells me to download a file or buy something to open it. The Itunes Icon is gone off the Mp3, now its just a document... but i can still drag the music into itunes and play it.... Also i cant save pics, they save as a web page now and when i go to open a pic it opens a web page... how do i fix this can someone please Help? ...i tried disk repairs and i believe a extension has been deleted or something

Open finder. From the menu bar Go > Go to folder > ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Finder.plist

Delete the file and reboot. See if the problem persists.

That didnt work ..... I believe i accidently deleted the ARd Patch which is part of the Remote desktop and modified it thats what it says on the disk repair... which is causing the desktop to act funny now... when i downloaded the Ard (remote Desktop) app from Apple i try to install it but it says it cant find it on the drive..have no idea what thats about but yeah it look like i really messed up on this one...

Deleting Aperture should not be causing any of the problems you are seeing. Something else happened on your system.

Given the symptoms you are reporting and the fact that you don;t know what you did you cause this I'd say a re-install of the OS is probably the easiest way to fix this.

I was thinkin the Samething Frank... I used to "CleanMyMac" and uninstalled APerture and when it did that it went into extensions and erased a main one ..... but im a just have to reinstall " Lion OS" once i find my disk....
