I have set up apple tv and airport express but cannot get apple tv to recognize the airport express wireless. Any solutions?

Airport Express set up a wireless network in my classroom. Apple TV is working but only recognizes the school network. I would like a solution other than connecting the two with a cable. That would require hanging cables since I am using apple TV to run a video projector.

iPad, Windows 7
