Macbook Pro Turns on but doesn't start up

Okay so I have a 2007 Macbook Pro with OSx Leopard I believe. It will turn on and chime and then bring up the apple logo and the loading spindle, then it just freezes and ventually turns off. Any thoughts? I have opened it up and checked everything out and it all seems to be in functioning order

so I have an update. I took it to the Apple store in my area and was informed that its an Issue with bad NVidia chips? and he also said something about the kernel extensions. my new question is, is how can I fix this issue? Can I just change out the nvidia chips? would it need an entirely new logic board? Also, if the logic board is the case, could I take the logicboard from my macbook(2007) and engineer it to fit into my macbook pro?
