When I bought my new iMac, I also bought the recommended HP printer from the App Store. Today, I had a question about my printer and started a chat with an online HP representative. To my surprise the site page on which we were chatting proclaimed "HP recommends Windows."
Now that's a corker !!!

They probably recommend Windows because hardly any of their tech support knows how to use a Mac. That's what happens when a company has 85% market share. HP printers work just fine on Macs.
And the online chat I had was a comedy routine. The responses did not fit my questions as if they were read from a printed sheet. The gal could not even recognize that I was talking about a letter sent by post. She kept on referring to my "email." The HP literacy level must be equal to its technical level. (*_*)
