I'd like to access the location where the default templates are stored. I've checked in: "Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic" but did not find anything.
I see that user templates are in: "Macintosh HD/Users/PROFILE/Library/Application Support/Logic/Project Templates"

Default Project templates are suppose to be in the Folder you mention.
MacHD/Library/Application Support/Logic/Project Templates
If you don't have this Folder you are supposed not to see them in Logic X.
Can you see the templates in Logic ?

I searched there as mentioned, but that folder isn't listed. 😟
For Logic Pro X they are stored within the application itself, but I would not modify the application.
Thanks! All I am looking to do is change the Hip Hop template to have MIDI quanitization on already. It Worked. Only thing is, now for the select a template options, Hip Hop doesn't have an icon as before, but it works perfect. I backed up the orignal before. I named it just as it was originally. Hmmmm, if I can figure out the icon thing, I'll be super happy. Good thing is, restoring the original template DOES bring back the icon. Now to figure out why it won't with mine.

Got it all sorted.
I HIGHLY RECCOMEND SAVING THE ORIGINAL TEMPLATE PRIOR TO OVERWRITING IT WITH YOUR OWN TEMPLATE.
Open Logic Pro X with no projects actually open. Next, navigate to: Applications, right click Logic Pro X, select Show Package Contents. From there, navigate to: "Content/Resources/Project Template/NewProject/" (copy the template you will be modifying to another location now!) It'll now open the template you'd wish to modify. Go ahead and modify the template of your choice to your liking. Once done, press "File>Save." That'll overwrite the original template with your newly modified template.

That is not correct.
User Project templates are stored in the location you stated but the Default Project templates, which is what the OP asked about, are stored within the app as Blueberry stated....
Note the path I highlighted......
I've never thought once about the default templates. I never look at them, lol. Thus, it never occurred to me that this was a question about the defaults.
I found this thread while searching to find where Apple moved the User templates. Thanks for the clarification. 🙂
