iCloud and song transfer help?

Hi, recently I've been having trouble with a song i just bought from iTunes. I bought it on my iPod touch thinking that iCloud would transfer the song over to my laptop, however that was not the case. iCloud will work with ALL of my songs except for the one I just bought. I even went so far as to download the song onto my desktop computer from my iPod, turn on home sharing for all three devices (laptop, ipod, desktop) and i also restarted my laptop several times. I do not know why iCloud will work for every song except this one. Can someone help me figure out how to get this song onto my laptop???? Thanks!
