iPhone Calendar: The calendar retains only events for about the past couple of months. Anything older disappears. How can I prevent this past information loss?

Hello Philintucson,

I'd suggest checking the settings for Calendars in your Settings app. Here you can control the syncing of past events.

Calendar settings

There are several settings in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars that affect Calendar and your

calendar accounts. These include:

• Syncing of past events (future events are always synced)

• Alert tone played for new meeting invitations

• Calendar time zone support, to show dates and times using a different time zone
