Netflix on Apple TV: Less content than Web Based Netflix?

Why can't I find some content in Netflix on the Apple TV but I can with the Netflix web app on my Macbook?

Even if I use the search feature I can't find the movie by title or actors.

An Example is a movie called Gomorrah, but I have seen this with loads of movies.

Apple TV3, with latest OS

Have reset all settings and signed in/out of netflix

(Thought it might be a DNS thing as I was messing about with that a few weeks ago on the Atv

Connected with Ethernet.

Same Network as MBpro connects to

Based out of the Republic of Ireland

The only way to play this content is to Airplay mirror but I rather have the Apple TV do all the work.

Ideas?

This thread has to do with Apple TV, which you don't have, that post was made 4 years ago and while that comment didn't address the problem an issue with content available on the Netflix app has to be addressed by Netflix. I stand by my original statement.

Should be the same content AFAIK.

Check on the netflix website to see this content is still available - they remove stuff from time to time.

That's the weird part. More titles are available from the website.

Being able to find and play them on the site doesn't guarantee I can find them on the Atv

I have now restored the Atv and tried with a WiFi connection.

I have also watched a few of the suspect movies on the Macbook to see if they appeared in Recently Watched on the Atv netflix but to no avail.

Issue Persists.

Contact Netflix and inquire why the content is not availble when viewing on the ATV. Netflix controls the content, not Apple.

I think this has to do with the file types. Apple doesn't support all file types

On iOS, i havé more content then on SmartTv.

For exemple Shooter: 2 season on iOS but only 1 on smarttv or ps4

And so on, dont know why!

As you don't have an Apple TV i'm not sure the purpose of your post. Also, as stated this is something you need to contact Netflix about.
