Q: I cloud Trouble

I initially opened an I cloud account on my Mac book pro when it was first available. I had it synced up with an I phone 4 and life was great.

My phone was stolen and replaced. I messed with passwords then opened a 2nd i cloud account and nothing worked.

I deleted both i cloud accounts and now cannot create a new one.

I do have an apple account and my mail accounts are working ok.

Each time I attempt to create an i cloud account I'm told that i cloud is inactive and to check my e mails for instructions for verifying it.

I have been told time and again that such an e mail has been sent but I,m yet to receive any e mail with the instructions.

Consequently I have no I cloud and no means of syncing my mac book with my new I phone 5.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), I want to sync with an I phone 5

In order to use your Apple ID to create an iCloud account, the primary email address associated with the ID must first be verified.  To do this, Apple will send a verification email to your account and you must respond to the email by clicking the Verify Now link.  Make sure you are check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.
