Aug 17, 2013 10:02 AM in response to Touch Heanby Tom Gewecke,There is no automatic way to do such conversions. I suggest you google "fixed layout epub" to find the instructions for how to create books in that format. PDF is the worst format to convert to anything else, but again via google you can probably find some online pdf to epub conversion service.

Aug 20, 2013 9:03 PM in response to Tom Geweckeby Touch Hean,I want to create an ePub2 Fixed layout. It seems a bit weird there is no documentation.
For fixed layout, the viewport is provided but for reflowable layout, it is not provided.
Any ideas to develop it?
Thanks,

Aug 22, 2013 6:54 AM in response to Tom Geweckeby Touch Hean,After surfing the Internet, i found that there is no way to convert the PDF to EPUB 2 Fixed layout. But it could be converted to the EPUB 3 Fixed layout and i still have a problem of setting up vieport and font of the text with a complex layout PDF (Grid layout like newspapper). I need to guess the font size and then build and .epub and then run on the device iPad, it takes long times .
Any ideas? I appreciate for your help.
Thanks

Aug 22, 2013 7:14 AM in response to Touch Heanby Tom Gewecke,I would try to get my content in some other format than PDF, which was never intended for conversion to anything else. You might be better off starting from scratch.
