I have the lateset Macbook Air, and when I use it for Defense Connect Online (DCO), DCO does not find my camera.  Anyone know of a fix?

    Go to Apple Menu / About this Mac / More Info / System Report.


    In the left column, select USB. On the left look at what is listed under USB Device Tree. Is Built-in iSight listed?


    If no, the camera is not working. If yes, this is probably a software issue.

    Does the camera work in Photo Booth?

    If your government website uses Flash-based video, use your Mac's  > System Preferences ... > Flash > Advanced menu command to verify you have the latest Flash software update that is compatible with your system.  Then check   > System Preferences ... > Flash > Camera and Mic to verify that your Flash settings are not blocking the camera for the site(s) you want.


    If your trouble continues after the above, and if restarting the Mac does not resolve your trouble, consider all relevant suggestions from see Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSightIf your ONLY trouble in every user account you tested is with Flash-based camera sites, you need Adobe Flash Player Help.


    (Over time, Apple has changed the built-in camera's name on newer Macs from "iSight" to "FaceTime" and then to "FaceTime HD."  Regardless of the name of your Mac's built-in camera, the same info and troubleshooting applies.)
