The cable in Diavonex's link as well as mine are for male to male cables. If that is not what you are looking for then you must have meant something else.
iPads don't use Thuderbold cables at all. They use Lightening cables.
The OP listed an iMac as their product, I think they just posted in the wrong forum.
Trying to connect my iPad to tv to watch a movie via HDMI input. Thought Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter would work, but adapter plug does not go in iPad. Can anyone help?
Meg was right. It's called a Lightning Digital AV Adapter.
