What is the telephone number listed on my data plan for my ipad. I do not recognize this number

If the email is from Apple, call Apple. If its from AT&T, call them. They will help you figure out why the number's there.

Even if you mentioned the number (which do not suggest you do) how would anyone here know what t he number is?

Even though you cannot use the iPad for phone calls, it has to have a number for the data connection.
