My mabook pro got wet the other night, the battery light still works but my macbook won't turn on and should i just wait for it to completely dry up? Or what should i do to solve this problem?

Just face facts - if water (or any other liquid) reached you logic board or any other electronic components, you're going to be the victim of corrosion.
Eventually, you'll need to have the logic board replaced. There are liquid sensors all over your MBP and the techs can tell if these have been activated. I wouldn't turn the computer on at all - if it were me, I would take it to your local Apple Store/AASP and get an estimate for repair. Rice & other desiccates may 'dry up' the liquid, but it won't undo the damage already done.

how wet did it get? spill? you need to spescify how wet it got, because there can be infinite possibilities why it won't turn on. water can short out circuits or can connect things that are not supposed to be connected. so lots of possibilities. try to dry it the best you can but do not open the back cover by yourself. you can use a blow-dryer but be careful near the screen since the glass is glued onto the frame and blow-dryer can melt it.
give the mac to your nearest apple store and tell them you want the photos in the hard drice. they will try all they can to retrieve the data.
Only way you can do is turn updown side for water to come out leave this way until dry but more likely its damages logic board,leave this for few days and see if work,if not need to repair will be very costly😐
You need to back up ur data kept in ur files(photos) b4 you take to any repairer computer shop or apple store.
If you want to save all your files you will need to Remove the hard drive from that Mac and connect it to another Mac and copy your data off it. If you send it in without doiing that there is a good chance that during the repair process Apple will wipe out that drive and reinstall the operating system which will remove all your data.
Water damage. The system has been fried by the water that got it wet.
Where should i send my macbook for the repairs to be done? I don't want to lose my photos from the hard drive. I live near Timmins, Ontario
It didn't really get wet, i just accidently spilled some water on it and it was moist when i opened the macbook this morning. So i left it alone until it cometely dries up.i don't want to risk opening the whole macbook to dry it up. Do you think its possible i take the hard drive from the macbook into a new one just to get my photos transferred to another portable hard drive?
It might turn on again or it might not. Doesn't really matter at this point the damage has been done. Even if it turns on once it fully dries out it won't last for long, days, weeks or even a month or 2, but it will fail from the damage the liquid caused that got into it.
If i waited a little longer for the macbook to dry up... Do you think it would work again?

Mac notebooks seem to be affected by lquid spilt anywhere near them. If you notice dampness on the keyboard and screen then whatever liquid you spilt on it got inside of it.
Techs may be able to save the hard drive, so (I'm assuming you have no backups) you data may be safe.
