Display adaptors

Morning all,

I have a Macbook Air (released in the UK this year) and I want to connect it to my HDTV for films.

If I use the Belkin adaptor (mini displayport to HDMI), will it transfer audio as well as video to the TV? Or will it just be video?

I only ask as I've seen a comment on the Apple website that the audio transfer will only be for Macbook Pro's purchased after 2010???

Thanks

(New to Apple and loving it)

In general, all MacBooks released after 2010 supports video and audio over Mini DisplayPort, so in your case, you will get video and audio in the TV.
