cannot upload new iTunes

I seem to have troubles with a number of things at the moment, and I am not sure how to overcome them.

When I go to Apple's website, and try to download the new version of ITunes, I get this strange page where the download information is somehow coming up in different font and text.

I have tried to download this several times now, to no avail, can anyone help?

Also, not sure if related or not, everytime I try to go on line, I seem to be ask for the validity of the certificate of the site, which is very irritating as it now seems to happen constantly.

All help gratefully received

Thanks

T

If the software updates do not work, which is an excellent idea, here's a few other things to try.

Quit Safari from the Safari menu, or do CMD + Q while it's focused.

Make sure your computer has the correct date and time. Click it in the upper right and select Open Date and Time Preferences.

Click the Safari menu in the upper left, and choose Reset Safari. Make sure to uncheck everything, except "remove all website data". (You can optionally check other stuff if you like.)

Trash com.apple.safari.savedstate located in ~/Library/Saved Application State.
