Q: Windows Authentication fails on Mac Server VPN

Hi,

hope someone could help out. I am setting up a mac os x server where VPN can be used to access files from remote locations.

Got it all up and running and Mac clients can connect wihout any trouble. Windows computers seem to have a problem where the authentication fails. I have successfully tested local and remote VPN connection from a Mac OS so I know the port forwarding is all set up correctly.

On a windows computer I have followed the steps as outlined by Apple in this article to update the Win registry. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5078
