The download button is not available on the download page

I am running Windows XP on my desktop. I have not been able to download iTunes updates for several months due to an error. I deleted iTunes to try reinstall. Now, the download button on the Apple site is not visible on the iTunes download page. What do I do next? I need iTunes on the desktop for syncing with my iPad.

Hello charb1,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

For more information on this, take a look at:

In some rare instances, it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.

Best of luck,

Mario
