Can't slide to unlock

I'll lay out what I had to fix first.

1) Had to replace the Digitizer, LCD and Power/Volume/Mute flex cable.

2) After doing everything I tested it out right now to see if it all works. LCD turned on fine, mute switch works fine and volume button works well too.

My problem is now that I can't slide to unlock nor slide to power down or press the cancel button.

What's even more odd is that when I double tap my home button to bring up the iPod control, I can tap the play button, forward, backward and even slide the volume slider. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
