Q: iPod touch is stuck in recovery mode
I recently updated to the last version of iOS. Before I did that, I backed up my iPod, and all went well until the update finished, and since then my iPod is stuck in recovery mode, and restoring fails every time. I tried using all suggested methods to fix it. I keep getting the error: "The iPod could not be restored at this time because the iPod update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable". I tried disabling my antivirus and firewall entirely, I obviously have an internet connection, but it still doesn't work. I've been trying for hours. Also, I didn't Jailbreak it. Any help?
iPod touch, iOS 6.1.4

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
