Can I transfer my "number of plays" over to new laptop?

I recently broke the screen on my old laptop but managed to extract the hardrive and transfer everything onto a new laptop.

I copied the old "Itunes Music Library" XML file over to the new laptop and, following instructions from a forum, managed to import my old playlists by opening iTunes while holding down "Shift". Lovely!

BUT...this hasn't transferred over the "number of plays" which is something I'd really love to keep. I've been trying to find a solution but they all seem to rely on me having access to my old laptop and the version of iTunes there (which I don't)

Can anyone help?
