Error -3902 Problem connecting to the network

Hello,

I see that I am not alone in this issue however I thought I'd add my experience. I just bought an Apple TV and was hooking it up today. It detected my wireless network and all of my other apple devices are using the wireless. I rebooted the apple tv and the router. I checked my network settings and I am unsing WPA - personal.

Needless to say I am somewhat annoyed that this is not working. I suspect Apple "updated" something in the past few days (as I see this seems to be a reletively new issue) and they fooked something. Please fix asap.

Regards

Hello Thor1794,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

For more information on this, take a look at:

If the issue continues after restarting, reset your router or base station and Apple TV to factory settings

  1. Reset your base station or router. Use the documentation provided by the manufacturer to reset to factory settings.
  2. To reset your Apple TV perform a factory restore.

Best of luck,

Mario
