Hi Jose Arroyo2,

I would start by using this article to troubleshoot the issue:

iTunes: How to re-create your iTunes library and playlists

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1451

If that does not resolve it, some general troubleshooting may help isolate or resolve it:

Mac OS X: How to troubleshoot a software issue

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1199

If that article does not resolve it, there are steps in this article that, although the symptoms are different, would also be worth trying:

Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570

Take care,

- Ari

Since iTunes 11.0.5 I have problems that iTunes randomly freezes and eats up all my available RAM (almost 10GB)... If I don't force quite iTunes then, it leads to a spinning beachball of death....

Unfortunately your solutions are not working, I tried every single one... I guess it's a bug... I will try to downgrade the iTunes version.
