Logic 9 EXS Samples unusable in Logic X

I have some EXS custom made files that I used with no issues in Logic 9 that now are not seen by Logic X EXS sampler. How do I transfer these files into Logic X? Also what happened to Recycle support?

Mac Pro (Early 2008), Mac OS X (10.6.8), AJA Kona 3

In regards to Rewire, I'm guessing you haven't installed the 64bit version of the library

Note: You can only rewire 64bit applications to other 64bit applications.. so you cannot rewire LPX (which is a 64bit only application) to say.. Ableton Live 32bit.. but you can to Ableton Live 64bit

As for EXS custom files.. where did you store them and have you simply tried navigating there to access them from inside EXS24's File menu?

The edit option has 'gone' because you have not turned on the Advanced features in the Logic Pro X preferences.

Go to LPX's prefs Advanced tab and turn on all the advanced functions. Now the edit button will be visable in EXS24

As for Recycle.. My apologies.. I misread your original post and I don't use recycle files so cannot specifically advise ... but maybe it's because you don't have the advanced features enabled... because, as far as I am aware, nothing has changed in EXS24 from the version found in LP9 and according to the updated documentation for the EXS24, those options are still active.
