Q: Airport 7.6.4 upgrade,

I have just upgraded my Airport Extreame and Express to 7.6.4 but I am now unable to attach express to network

I have tried to reset Express with it still not fixing the problem I have even defaulted my airport extreame still with no success

In the airport app I can see the express as a other WiFi device and run the process to add to network but each time it retuns with unexpected e

Hi Mr MacD,

If you continue having issues with your configuration and the 7.6.4 Firmware update, you may want to revert to a previous version and see if that resolves your issue. You may find the following article helpful:

Hi,
I have a TC and a AP express. I use the express to extend my network. After upgrade to 7.6.4 extended part of network kept failing frequently.

Reverted both TC and AP express back to 7.6.3 and it's working as it did before.

Is there a special configuration that is required for 7.6.4 to operate correctly in the manor described above?
